A Greeting from Jessica Elmazi (she/her)
Canadian Certified Counsellor.
Hi, I’m Jessica,
Authenticity is at the heart of my practice, not only in how I show up for you, but also in how I support you in building a more genuine connection with yourself. I believe that when we are truly acting and making choices based on our values, rather than the expectations or perceptions of others, we begin to live our lives with greater fulfillment and courage. It takes bravery to be seen for who we are, and while that can feel uncomfortable or even frightening, it is from that space that true healing begins.
I hold a master’s degree in counselling psychology and an undergraduate degree in psychology. Because every person’s path is unique, I use a tailored approach that’s guided by what will best support your growth and healing. My role is to help you move through the challenges that are uniquely yours, while uncovering the strengths and gifts that have always been within you.
I also hold space for the kinds of questions and experiences that often go unspoken in traditional therapy, those involving intuition, spiritual emergence, or transpersonal insights.
I believe there is always an opening, a doorway towards healing and renewal. Through a collaborative and client-centred approach, I will support you in discovering that space within yourself, so you can move through life’s storms with a greater level of resilience, awareness, and self-trust than you once had. I carry with me the reminder from Yung Pueblo: “Loving yourself is not selfish; it is essential to your wellbeing and the wellbeing of the world.” It is from this foundation of self-compassion that transformation begins, and where life, once again, begins to feel aligned with your true nature.
With kindness,
Jessica
