I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, as well as an EMDR Consultant, focusing on trauma, burnout, and recovery from a wide range of life experiences. After a break from yoga, I returned to practice to support my own recovery from complex post traumatic stress responses and burnout. The path was bumpy, non linear, and transformative but one that ultimately led me to Canmore Counselling Trauma Informed Yoga School. What started as support for my own body and professional curiosity has become an integral part of how I understand healing and community. My work is informed by years of clinical experience and my own pathway to connection. I support people in reconnecting to safety, agency, and inner wisdom by integrating trauma informed yoga therapy, evidence based psychotherapy, and sometimes a little spiciness! I am committed to decolonizing my practice by questioning dominant wellness narratives, centering choice, and acknowledging the broader systemic contexts that cause harm. My work is grounded in respect for our body's innate intelligence, promotes wellness as both personal and collective processes, and is grounded in openness to diverse ways of knowing. |
