Below is the breakdown for each tuition option. We know this is a major financial commitment so please consider the tuition option that is best for you.
Tuition Options
- Part 1: Coursework Tuition (610 hours of training)
- Part 2: Practicum & Mentorship Tuition (190 hours, paid after coursework is completed)

- Individual Courses: $20/hour | per request

- Part 1: Coursework Tuition (610 hours): $8387.50 CAD + 5% gst

- Paid in 10 monthly payments: January 31 until October 31st
- Part 2: Practicum & Mentorship Tuition (190 hours): $3500.00 CAD + 5% gst
- Paid in 2 payments, after all coursework is completed.
- Total Tuition: $12,650.00 + 5% gst
- Part 1: Coursework Tuition (610 hours): $9150.00 CAD + 5% gst

- Individual Courses are paid for at the time of registration.
- Registration is require at least two month prior to the start date.

Practicum and Mentorship (190 Hours)
The 190-Hour practicum & mentorship is a required component of the program, completed after the coursework.

Dr. Melissa Jay is an Indigenous, Nehiyaw-Métis member of the Métis Nation of Alberta. Canmore Counselling is located Châ Ûpchîchîyen Kudebi (translated from Îyârhe Nakoda as “shooting at the willows”), colonially known as Canmore. The physical location of Canmore Counselling & the Trauma-Informed Yoga Psychology is in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, which is considered Treaty 7 land and home of Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III, and the traditional territory of the Îyârhe Nakoda, including the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley First Nations, as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations. As an act of reconciliation and commitment to decolonization, we are committed to the TRC's Calls to Action.
At Canmore Counselling, we are also privileged to be yoga students, practitioners, and guides.
